SGI Canada Level 2 Study Exam
The SGI Canada Level 2 Study Exam will be held on Sunday, October 27, 2024 and it will be offered in English, French and Chinese.
The Level 2 Exam is the next-level exam for those who passed the Level 1 Introductory Exam in 2023. It will also be available to those who passed the 2019 Basics Exam, which is equivalent to the Introductory Exam.
The Level 2 Exam will be presented in multiple-choice format, like the Level 1 Introductory Exam.
To register for the exam, simply complete the short form below using the Registration button or the QR Code.

Exam Study Materials
The study materials for the Level 2 Exam are:
- The Basics of Nichiren Buddhism for the New Era of Worldwide Kosen-rufu: chapters 4, 5, 6, 7, 8 and 10
- SGI President Ikeda’s lecture from the series Learning from the Writings of Nichiren Daishonin: The Teachings for Victory. The lecture is titled “On Establishing the Correct Teaching for the Peace of the Land”—Engaging in Dialogues of Hope to Bring Happiness and Peace to All People. This lecture will also be published in the August issue of NEW CENTURY, Chinese New Century and Ère nouvelle. For individuals who are not yet subscribing to these publications, you can receive the August issue if you subscribe by June 10.

The Level 2 Exam materials are now available in PDF format with highlighted key passages. Participants can obtain the PDF file through your local district leaders.
Printed Versions
The complete printed edition of The Basics of Nichiren Buddhism for the New Era of Worldwide Kosen-rufu is available from the SGI Canada Online Bookstore and local SGI Canada bookstores in all three languages. It is also available online in English and Chinese at the Soka Gakkai Global website:
